Today marks the official start to my prep for the 2016 Western Regional's in November. To say I am excited is an understatement - actually the emotions I am feeling about this transformation are pretty un-explainable. It's going to be a hard, long 16 weeks but I am so ready for this. The amount of effort I put in will reflect tremendously on my body. I will write every Monday about my journey and add a video blog in as well. I want to document everything! Sharing my journey means a lot to me because I want others to know they can do it to! Nothing is impossible!!
My life is about to get EXTREMELY routine.
1. Wake up 5 AM - hit steady pace cardio for 45 Minutes (today I burned over 500 calories and walked over 2 miles on an incline of 12.)
2. Come home - Eat right away because I'm usually starving ( I have nothing but protein right after cardio - Egg whites, ground turkey and a handful of spinach)
3. I make all my meals for the day (I can't stand meal prepping all my food on Sunday night due to the meat drying out or the rice turning into rock hard chunks LOL - I do, however, measure out all my food on Sunday night and place it into baggies and toss them into the freezer so all I have to do is take it out and it's ready to cook!) SUPER EASY!
4. Pack my lunch box, get all my shakers ready with the correct drinks and I am set for the day.
5. Get ready for work
6. leave work, come home feed my dogs
7. Hit the gym again
8. Post workout meal
9. Shower up
10. SLEEP!
Not a bad routine if you ask me!
I had my first posing class on Saturday - learned A LOT. I got some really good feed back on how I pose. My posing coach said I will do really well and I have lots of potential, I do it naturally. I heard that and felt so much better about the show, first class and I am already doing well, HECK YEA! I do need to work on my walk, you have to walk like a model - sexy, smooth and ready to groove! That'll all come in time!
How am I feeling?
I am excited, nervous, happy, tired, proud, everything. haha I am excited to test my boundaries, but not give myself a limit. I will see changes quickly with the diet and workout routine I am on. I am supposed to lose 10 LBS or more within the next 4 weeks. I am happy I have an amazing supporter that helps me daily. I am pumped to see results. I am motivated and ready for change!
What are some goals or this show?
I want to place AT LEAST top 5 for my division.
I want to drop down to 160 LBS
I want to look my best and feel more confident.
I want to encourage others to try this sport.
I will post another update on Monday starting 15 weeks out! Till next time BeYOUties!
XOXO
